Mexican Government, Tell Us the Truth: Where are the Ayotzinapa 43?

November 7, 2014, Mexico, D. F. "Ya me cansé": "I´m tired" were the words J. Murillo Karam, Procurador General de la República Mexicana said, after 20 minutes of answering questions about the final destiny of the 43 Normalista Students of Ayotzinapa. Now it turns out that the confession methods of Priest Solalinde are more efective than the "great" and expensive "Inteligencia Federal Mexicana" which only acts with the brilliant strategy of searching for the students in the mountains of Guerrero State, and appoints research to just asking to inhabitants of villages, where they believe the missing students could be. It would be ok that, like a snowball, a peaceful social movement could grow more and more, till the point that it ends in a kind of a 1993 Italian Mani Pulite (clean hands) process which at least breaks in, if not terminate, this vicious circle of corruption and impunity that covers my dear country; although I must admit that it requires imparcial media and a bit healthy Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación, and the most important: a unifying leadership in México is still missing.

Now I share this flyer posted in http://www.huffingtonpost.com/ted-lewis/mexican-government-tell-u_b_6025544.html

Ayotzinapa: Murdered students and the Police-Army-Criminal links of the new PRI.

On October 2, 1968, Mexico's President, Gustavo Díaz Ordaz, ordered the Mexican Army to open fire on student organizers gathered in Mexico City's Tlatelolco Plaza. The coldly calculated murder of hundreds of students was the linchpin of an operation aimed at destroying a powerful movement that was rapidly galvanizing opposition to the regime far beyond the nation's campuses.

After the massacre, the government launched a dirty war, focused on Guerrero, hunting down those who continued to resist. They also commenced a cover-up of the massacre that lasted for decades. But Mexico's students and democratic opposition never forgot and coined the slogan: El dos de octubre no se olvida (October 2 will never be forgotten).

This year, a horrendous echo of those long-ago events is again roiling Mexico.
2014-10-22-bigmarch.jpeg

On September 26, a group of first-year students at the Ayotzinapa rural teachers' college in the southern state of Guerrero went out to raise money after their first day of classes. Their goal was to help fund contingents for travel to the 46th annual commemoration of the Tlatelolco massacre in Mexico City.

The Ayotzinapa College, founded in 1926, has long been a bastion of youthful dissent in a violent and repressive state. Nevertheless, protests by unarmed students against the authorities were traditional and followed predictable rules. Students knew that the President and his party wanted to do away with their school. None could have imagined the horror to follow.

One long-standing technique of public college students in Guerrero and elsewhere around the country is the "boteo," in which participants block a roadway to solicit semi-voluntary contributions from drivers. Another is to commandeer local buses for the students' use. Both have the power to annoy, but never before have they been met with the kind of murderous attack that ensued that night after an unsuccessful evening of fundraising.

As three busloads of students crossed the city of Iguala around 9 p.m., they were ambushed: Uniformed men in police trucks firing automatic weapons pursued and then pinned the students down a few yards away from the avenue that would take them out of town. During this first attack, which lasted for about 90 minutes, uniformed municipal police forced 25 to 30 students off one of the buses, made them lie face down on the street, and then drove them away in police trucks. During this time, there was no visible reaction from the local Army base of the 27th Infantry Battalion, less than five miles away.

When the firing stopped and police had departed, neighbors, teachers, more students from Ayotzinapa, and a few local journalists gathered at the crime scene. Some of the students began preserving evidence of the attack, like spent gun shells and blood smears in vehicles and on the street. A spontaneous press conference began as reporters asked a student representative from the teachers' college about what had happened. Then, just after the reporters asked the student his name, gunfire resumed. Masked men killed two more people while others fled for their lives into nearby streets and over fences.

The journalists and locals who had gathered all managed to escape, but attackers abducted 13 to 20 more students along the side streets. The following morning, around 10 a.m., one student's dead body was found near the site of the attack. He had been brutally beaten. His killers removed his face, eyes and ears.

At the time this publication, none of the 43 "disappeared" students have been found. Many fear the worst.

What does this all mean? Among the hundreds of thousands of Mexicans pouring into the streets or protesting at Mexican consulates around the world, few doubt that it means the horrid nexus of collaboration between police, military, and criminal actors has come out into the open.

Truth is a torch, but a huge one

How many great minds have given their own lives to open others their eyes; and once the truth is revealed, how long could it take to be forgotten as to get the same mistakes again; so, how much you should put at risk yourself in order to show others what the truth is; how much is really worth humanity as to give them your life to make them trascend at least a little. But in the end, it is the nature of a noble spirit to tell the truth, regardless of the consequences.

      Goethe said:

"It is much easier to recognise error than to find truth; for error lies on the surface and may be overcome; but truth lies in the depths, and to search for it is not given to everyone."

"Truth belongs to the man, error to his age. This is why it has been said that, while the misfortune of the age caused his error, the force of his soul made him emerge from the error with glory."

"Truth is a torch, but a huge one, and so it is only with blinking eyes that we all of us try to get past it, in actual terror of being burnt."

"For, as the water dislodged by a ship, instantly flows in again behind it, so when great minds have dispelled error, and made room for themselves, it naturally closes in again behind them very speedily."

Fate does not exist as something predetermined

"Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.".- Carl Jung

That is why  I say that fate does not exist as something predetermined...where would freedom be if not so; and if I had to choose between fate and freedom, I would definitely choose the second, that´s freedom. To be directed by the unconscious, that should be left to animals and kids. We have 100,000 million  nuerons each one, but most of us confirm with our actions again and again, the ten percent of brain myth. Not even Nietzsche says we should be directed by emotions, unless we have first a period of reflexion in loneliness; i.e. we should allow to be directed by emotions, only when we are conscious about it. The question now is how to become conscious, but Jung himself gives us the answer, to wich I woud like to return later:

“There is no coming to consciousness without pain. People will do anything, no matter how absurd, in order to avoid facing their own Soul. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.”

Podría intentar descifrar a Jung

Carl Gustav Jung:

Ah, maravilloso ¿no?

No, no me mal interprete.

¿Eh? ¿Qué? ¿Estoy despedido?

That´s what I mean by Human slavery to space-time because of ego satisfaction.

I am going to speak about the individual but not in the nietzschean sense but rather in the Schopenhauer´s one. With the idea that ego not always is a defect nor the source of all evil, but that it manifests in two forms (idea to which I will return later) I´m going to divide the concept of ego in two categories named the first and second forms of the manifestation of ego respectively; the first one is the source of all defects in human beings (when combined with reason) and the second one is the source of all virtue (when is free of material desire.) I will speak in this post about the ego in its first form.

I have been thinking for a long time about the lack of freedom of Humanity because of its slavery to desire satisfaction. And yes, Humanity has no freedom because they all are just slaves of desire, subjects of craving, ego satisfiers: individuals. I say this because as soon as they have a desire, they quickly use reason to achieve desire satisfaction no matter what or whom they hurt, not even themselves in order to get it. This necessity of ego satisfaction is not exclusive of human beings, but animals also have it, though the very difference between humans and animals is that humans have in addition the ability to reason, and is this mixture of necessity of ego satisfaction and the ability to reason which causes all damage we can see around the world, since human beings only use incorrectly this ability to achieve egocentric goals, instead to use it to realize that such behavior is rather destructive, since sets human beings into a state worse than animals when they lose the capability of adapting to Nature and society armonically because of this incorrect use. In this sense, human beings are blind, and this blindness is the result of this ego satisfaction by means of reason, since this mixture allows human beings to achieve deeper and generally more perverted ends, which not even animals, cause they have no reason, can reach. These deeper egocentric achievements fasten humanity to a vicious state of desire satisfaction and suffering while not satisfied, and because desire is endless, suffering will be recurrent, allowing only some moments of ephemeral happiness. The fastening of humanity to that vicious state of desire satisfaction with the aid of reason is what makes it slave and removes its freedom. Thus reason used in this incorrect way slaves humanity and because, as Kant says, space-time is only a form of the reason principle, space-time will contribute to slave when the reason is used for ego satisfaction, preventing human beings of enjoying things beyond space and time. Ego satisfaction and desire satisfaction can be summarized in necessity of the individual and with this we can conclude that Human Beings as individual and society will reach complete Freedom when they get free of all want, not because they have everything, but because they no longer need anything. This is an ideal obviously, but the more human beings get close to it the genuinely happier they will be; though it also depends on the economic-political and religious system we are, and this justifies the pic.

As an example of this fact I want to share this story I found in Neila Lott Google+ account to confirm the human slavery state and how this prevents him of enjoying things beyond space and time.

Something to think about... We Are Missing A Lot In Life.- By Neila Lott

A man sat at a metro station in Washington DC and started to play the violin; it was a cold January morning. He played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time, since it was rush hour, it was calculated that 1,100 people went through the station, most of them on their way to work.

Three minutes went by, and a middle aged man noticed there was musician playing. He slowed his pace, and stopped for a few seconds, and then hurried up to meet his schedule.

A minute later, the violinist received his first dollar tip: a woman threw the money in the till and without stopping, and continued to walk.

A few minutes later, someone leaned against the wall to listen to him, but the man looked at his watch and started to walk again. Clearly he was late for work.

The one who paid the most attention was a 3 year old boy. His mother tagged him along, hurried, but the kid stopped to look at the violinist. Finally, the mother pushed hard, and the child continued to walk, turning his head all the time. This action was repeated by several other children. All the parents, without exception, forced them to move on.

In the 45 minutes the musician played, only 6 people stopped and stayed for a while. About 20 gave him money, but continued to walk their normal pace. He collected $32. When he finished playing and silence took over, no one noticed it. No one applauded, nor was there any recognition.

No one knew this, but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the most talented musicians in the world. He had just played one of the most intricate pieces ever written, on a violin worth $3.5 million dollars.

Two days before his playing in the subway, Joshua Bell sold out at a theatre in Boston where the seats averaged $100.

This is a real story. Joshua Bell playing incognito in the metro station was organized by the Washington Post as part of a social experiment about perception, taste, and priorities of people. The outlines were: in a commonplace environment at an inappropriate hour: Do we perceive beauty? Do we stop to appreciate it? Do we recognize the talent in an unexpected context?

One of the possible conclusions from this experience could be:

If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world playing the best music ever written, how many other things are we missing?
